Terms of use of the website
These terms say what you will find on this website and how you should read it. A vehicle purchase is not concluded here but in person at our dealership — the website is there so that you can look through the stock in advance.
Who runs the website
SIMA Car s.r.o., Dvojrad 348/28, 930 25 Vrakúň, Company ID (IČO) 50 812 327, Tax ID (DIČ) 2120511998, VAT ID (IČ DPH) SK2120511998, entered in the Commercial Register: Obchodný register Okresného súdu Trnava, oddiel Sro, vložka č. 39960/T. What this website is — and what it is not
The website is the shop window of our dealership. It shows which vehicles we have in stock, at what price and with what specifications. It is not an online shop: nothing can be bought, paid for or bindingly reserved here.
The published stock is therefore not a proposal to enter into a contract. It is an invitation for you to get in touch. A purchase contract only comes into being when it is signed at our dealership, after you have seen the car in person.
There is an enquiry form on the Contact page. Sending an enquiry creates no order, no reservation and no right to buy — it is a message we will get back to you about. We confirm the availability of the vehicle and the price only in our reply; until then they may change. What data we collect in the form and how long we keep it is described on the Privacy page.
Details about the vehicles
We publish the details and photographs with the vehicles according to what we know about the car — from the documents, the service history and our own inspection. We do our best to keep them accurate and up to date, but we cannot rule out an error in transcription or the condition of the vehicle changing in the meantime. What decides is always the condition you see on the spot and the details in the purchase contract.
A vehicle may be sold before its advert is taken down from the website. If a particular car interests you, call us — we will confirm whether it is still available.
Prices
The prices with the vehicles are final purchase prices in euros including VAT; for a car with deductible VAT, the net amount and VAT are shown with the price. Some of the vehicles we sell under the margin scheme — with such a car, VAT is not stated separately and the buyer cannot deduct it. This is written right at the vehicle.
The vehicle re-registration fee is not included in the vehicle price — it is paid separately.
Instalment calculator
The calculator on the Financing page is an indicative aid, not a credit offer. It does not take your creditworthiness or the specific terms of the finance company into account. You will learn the real instalment amount, the interest rate and all the fees only in the offer the finance company prepares for you after assessing your application.
If the calculator shows a monthly instalment, it is an indicative calculation based on Home Credit's rates, and the representative example with the interest rate and APRC is right next to it. If it shows no instalment, it only calculates the loan amount from the vehicle price and the down payment you enter yourself. The actual instalment, interest and APRC are always given to you by the financing company in a tailored offer. Warning! Borrowing money costs money.
Vehicle inspection (CarInspect)
The link to the vehicle inspection service leads to a separate website with its own terms. Those are governed by the documents published there, not by these terms.
Content of the website
The photographs, texts and graphics on this website belong to the operator or are used with permission. Taking them and using them elsewhere without an agreement is not okay. Linking to the page, of course, you can do at any time.
Complaints and where to turn
You make a complaint about a vehicle you bought from us — in person at Dvojrad 348/28, 930 25 Vrakúň, by phone on +421 908 84 08 95 or +421 919 49 19 59 or by e-mail at simacar@simacar.sk. We will accept the complaint, give you a confirmation of it and settle it within the statutory time limit.
In detail — within what period, what is not a defect, how the claim proceeds and where to turn if we do not reach an agreement — all of that is written in the separate document Liability for defects (complaints). That one takes precedence; here you find only the place where a claim is made.
Supervision over compliance with consumer rights is carried out by Inšpektorát Slovenskej obchodnej inšpekcie pre Trnavský kraj (Slovak Trade Inspection Authority, inspectorate for the Trnava Region), Pekárska 23, 917 01 Trnava 1, tel. 033/321 25 27.
A dispute can also be settled out of court under Act No 391/2015 Coll. on alternative resolution of consumer disputes. The proposal is filed with an entity from the list kept by the ministry, for example: Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, ústredný inšpektorát, Odbor pre medzinárodné vzťahy a alternatívne riešenie spotrebiteľských sporov (Slovak Trade Inspection Authority, central inspectorate, Department for International Relations and Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution), Bajkalská 21/A, p. p. 29, 827 99 Bratislava 27, e-mail ars@soi.sk or adr@soi.sk.
The European online dispute resolution platform (ODR) ceased operating on 20 July 2025, so we no longer link to it — the link would lead to a dead page. The list of alternative dispute resolution entities across the European Union is kept by the European Commission at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.
